Rollout of Faster Internet in Arizona Completed

Yesterday, we launched our new High Speed Internet 20.0 service, Video on Demand (VOD) and TV Caller ID in Payson, Pine and Strawberry, Ariz. High Speed Internet 20.0 features a download speed up to 20 Megabits per second (Mbps), which is believed to be the fastest residential Internet service in the area.

With the introduction of High Speed Internet 20.0 in these communities, Suddenlink has completed the launch of 20 Mbps service in substantially all of the Arizona properties it acquired in April 2011.

Customers in Payson, Pine and Strawberry who have Suddenlink digital receivers can enjoy VOD service, available on Channel 1.

VOD features thousands of viewing choices, many of them in high-definition (HD) format, including movies, sports, news, music and popular cable-network shows. More than a third of the Suddenlink VOD library is free. The rest is available for either a per-view charge or monthly subscription. Viewers can order titles via remote control at any time.

In another upgrade, customers in these communities can now see who’s phoning them on their TV screens with Suddenlink’s TV Caller ID service. When the phone rings, a banner pops up across the bottom of the TV screen to indicate who’s calling. The feature is free, but for it to work, customers must have a minimum combination of Suddenlink Phone and Digital TV.

These service enhancements are the latest elements in a $10 million capital investment program in Arizona. In addition to faster Internet speeds, that program has brought many new TV channels to Kingman and Bullhead City, Flagstaff, Payson, Pine, Strawberry and other Arizona communities. Last December, VOD and TV Caller ID services were introduced in Flagstaff, Sedona, Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Lake Montezuma and the Village of Oak Creek.
